8. If the store does grooming or training, are the birds in a separate area than any in the store or boarded birds? No

9. Are customers allowed to interact with birds in the store? Yes

16. Does the store do pre purchase screening prior to selling a bird to an individual? Customer must come in and socialize with birds multiple time before purchase to ensure a good fit

Notes:

#12 Books and periodicals are not for sale in store, nor are there handouts available for interested clients, so for these purposes the answer to this question is ‘No’ rather than yes. However the informant did indicate that customers can come to the store and talk to employees to gain bird knowledge.
